Escanario Privacy Policy
Version date: September 21, 2026. Responsible: White Hat Mgmt LLC.
Escanario processes the images chosen by the user, the recognized text, the titles and the metadata necessary to scan, organize, search, verify, export and restore documents. The library remains encrypted in the app’s private space. White Hat Mgmt LLC does not provide an account or a document server and does not receive those documents through this version.
When a user shares a PDF or saves a backup, the file is delivered to the destination they choose in the system interface. That destination applies its own policy. Backups are encrypted with a password that White Hat Mgmt LLC does not know nor can retrieve.
On Android, Escanario uses Google Play Services Document Scanner and Google ML Kit; on iOS it uses VisionKit and Google ML Kit. Google states that the images, text and ML Kit results are processed on the device and are not sent to its servers. It also states that the ML Kit SDKs may collect device and app technical data, performance metrics, settings and feature‑event data, error codes and per‑install identifiers for diagnostics and usage analytics. Google declares HTTPS encryption and that it does not share that data with third parties. The app does not integrate advertising, tracking or White Hat Mgmt LLC’s own analytics.
Documents are retained until the user deletes them or uninstalls the app. Internal deletion removes originals, derivatives, OCR and indexes controlled by Escanario, but cannot delete copies already delivered to another app or service. External backups must be deleted where they were stored.
The app uses authenticated encryption, secure key storage, processing limits, integrity checks and visual protection when the system allows it. No control completely eliminates the risk of a compromised device, a weak password, or an incorrect sharing destination.
Escanario is not specifically directed at minors. For inquiries, access, rectification or deletion of data under White Hat Mgmt LLC’s control, write to [email protected] indicating “Escanario”. Since the app does not create accounts nor upload the library to White Hat Mgmt LLC servers, the user controls local documents from the app itself and the device.
