CDL Navigator is a navigation app for trucks and school buses. The difference from a car navigator isn’t the interface: it knows where a commercial vehicle cannot go. It’s in development.
A normal navigator calculates the fastest route assuming the vehicle fits everywhere. That’s true for a car. It’s not true for a four‑meter‑half trailer, or for a school bus with its own rules: there are bridges that are too low, bridges with weight limits, and tunnels prohibited if you’re carrying hazardous cargo.
